Chefs at The Runhead Bar and Grill, Holburn Lane, Ryton, have unveiled their new summer menu.

And, in a new addition to their hot meals, grills, sharing platters and salads, they have launched a range of wraps – which take their inspiration from worldwide cuisine.

Diners can choose from Oriental-inspired salt and pepper chicken, Mexico-influenced chilli cheese steak or piri-piri chicken wrap and Mediterranean vegetable.

Also new to the menu are pizzas, which can be created with a variety of toppings, on gluten free bases if required and can be ordered to take away or be eaten in.

Along with traditional food favourites, such as scampi and chips and steak and ale pie, customers can now opt for a variety of continental inspired hot dishes including chicken Milanese, Thai fishcakes and a vegetable pasta bake.

The venue, owned by Newcastle-based leisure giant the Malhotra Group plc, has also introduced special offers for those dining on specific days of the week.

These include a mid-week Wednesday carvery for lovers of a traditional roast meal and a Thursday burger and drink deal, with a free drink for every burger purchased from the main menu.
