Screen Shot 2015-05-06 at 09.20.43MORE than 30 jobs are on offer as one of the North East’s top hotels prepares to unveil a new attraction.

On 4 August, Wynyard Hall Hotel, Tees Valley, will open the second stage of its £5.3m Gardens project to the public – and it is holding a recruitment day as the search begins for staff.

The four star hotel is looking to recruit at least 30 people to work in the new Walled Garden visitor centre with an unspecified number of full and part time vacancies, such as cleaning and turn-down staff, also on offer within the hotel and spa.

The positions on offer include food service and retail staff, supervisors, chefs, cleaners and waiting staff for the Walled Garden café and the adjacent Grand Marquee, which was installed last year and is now one of the region’s largest conference and wedding venues.

Anyone interested in applying is invited to attend a recruitment day, to be held in the Grand Marquee, in the grounds of the Hall, on 27 May from 3.30pm until 7.30pm.

“This will be a wonderful opportunity to join us at the beginning of something that promises to be very special indeed,” said Allison Antonopoulos, Managing Director at Wynyard Hall Hotel.

“There has been considerable interest in the Walled Garden across the UK and we will be looking for people who have differing skills and abilities but who will share our pride in this breathtakingly beautiful venue.”

No appointment is necessary but applicants are asked to bring an up to date copy of their CV.
