The free training session, organised by County Durham Housing Group, will be held on Tuesday, 12 April from 10am to 12.30pm at Bowburn Community Centre, Durham.

Claire Maddison, Employment and Skills Officer at County Durham Housing Group, said: “The job market is becoming increasingly competitive, so it’s important for people to ensure that their application form presents them in the best possible way.

“Our free informal workshop will provide jobseekers with expert advice about what to put on their application form and – just as importantly – the pitfalls to avoid.

“Anyone wanting further information, or to book their free place at our workshop, should email employability@cdhg.co.uk or call us on 0191 349 7657.”

County Durham Housing Group’s Employment and Skills Team provides support to tenants of Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes to find a job, access training, gain apprenticeships and venture into self-employment.
