ARC’s No 60 café are holding a Summer Hawaiian Party on Saturday 20 August at 7pm, and everyone is invited to don their brightest shirt and join the fun.
Tickets cost just £5, which includes a delicious plate of barbequed jerk chicken with mango, coconut and coriander rice.
Plenty of fruity cocktails and top summer party tunes will complement the Hawaiian themed décor – think flower garlands, a tiki-bar, the brightest shirt you can think of and optional games including a beach-style limbo stick!
On arrival you’ll get your very own lei, the official name of the Hawaiian inspired flower garland, and there’s even a prize for best dressed so dig out the shorts and sandals, hula skirts and summer hats, or whatever gets you in the summer spirit.
A DJ will be providing a summery soundtrack for the evening and live music will come courtesy of No 60 resident musicians, The Fundamentals, who’ve been firm favourites during the interval of the monthly Catch 22 Comedy Club.
ARC’s very own pop up tiki-bar will be serving a selection of cocktail concoctions including a special No 60 Hawaiian cocktail, and Admiral Vernons Old J Tiki Fire Spiced Rum is another top choice of tipple for the evening.
There will also be a special treat from ARC’s extensive 22 pan ice cream bar with summery scoops of coconut and banana flavoured ice cream on offer.
There’s a special treat for early bookers too, as a free pina colada will be given on arrival for the first 50 tickets booked.
This event will take place in The Point, where most of ARC’s music and comedy gigs take place.
