Residents in County Durham who have not yet sent their response to the devolution poll have just a few days left to do so.
Durham County Council is holding a poll to get people’s views on devolution proposals for the North East.
The deadline for responses is 5pm on Monday 8 February and people are being urged to submit their views online.
The results will help to inform the decision over whether Durham County Council agrees to sign a final agreement.
The agreement would see more decisions made locally and £30m a year additional funding made available to help bolster the region’s economy. It would also see the introduction of a regional elected mayor.
All those registered to vote in the County have been sent information and poll papers, which have been compiled by Durham University.
The poll is being conducted by Electoral Reform Services.
