Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has joined Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan deal.
Krul, 29, has linked up with former Magpies boss Chris Hughton at the AMEX Stadium, where he will remain until the end of the Seagulls’ first season in the Premier League.
The Dutch international stopper – one of United’s longest-serving players, having arrived at St. James’ Park in 2005 – also spent time out on loan at Ajax and AZ Alkmaar last season.
Krul, who has played 185 times for United, was part of Hughton’s Championship title-winning squad in 2010, during the Seagulls boss’ time on Tyneside.
