Private Landlords, Estate Agents and any other organisations with an interest in Private Sector Housing are being urged to attend a landlord’s forum later this month.
The event run by Hambleton District Council in partnership with Richmondshire District Council and the National Landlords Association, takes place on Wednesday 28 June at Evolution Business Centre, County Business Park, Darlington Road, Northallerton at 1.45pm.
Guest speakers from Tilley Bailey and Irvine Law Firm will be looking at some of the recent developments and legal issues surrounding residential assured shorthold tenancies whilst the Department of Working Pensions (DWP) will be discussing benefit changes and the introduction of Universal Credit.
There will be a number of stalls and district council officers will also be attending to offer advice on Environmental Health and Council Tax issues.
