Langver prepares for industry show

A market leader in manufacture and supply of ratchet tensioners for curtainsided vehicles is getting ready to present its products to visitors of the Commercial Vehicle Show 2018.

Langver Engineering, which is based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, design and manufacture their products in-house for supply to clients globally. Their unique methods of developing bespoke products to their new and existing customers has seen the company grow significantly.

Headed up by owners Scott Taylor and Claire Matten, the business has a desire to provide the best solutions for its clients whilst considering their individual specification requirements. Using the finest quality materials, the highly skilled team at Langver adapt their products to specific requests and have helped solve various problems for their loyal customers, including one who operates in Canada.

Lawrence Pennings, Plant Manager, Curtainsider Inc said: “We operate in extreme weather conditions and therefore require parts and materials that are durable. Langver’s products are great quality and the team have worked closely with us to produce bespoke items to suit our unique requirements.”

Claire Matten said of the show: “This is a great opportunity for us to get out and meet our customers. It is through our discussions that we can ensure we are offering superior products and delivering what our clients need.

“Our customers are busy and so taking all our products to them gives us an opportunity to show our full product range with minimal impact to their operation. Listening to our customers’ challenges and adapting our products has kept us ahead of the market and is essential for our continued growth.”

Scott Taylor added: “Our products are bespoke and it is rare that we get a chance to show our full range. As an engineer, I am always keen to hear how our products are working and discuss modifications that can support our customers.”

Langver’s stand will also feature a guest appearance from Langver sponsored Kyle Ryde, two times British champion, superbike rider. Kyle has completed two seasons in World Supersport 600cc class and this season steps up a machine class into the British Superbike Series.

The show takes place at Birmingham NEC on 24th to 26th April 2018 and Langver Engineering will be on stand 3D96 for the duration of the show.
