Lauren and her awardThe Hambleton Business Awards is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the great business achievements of businesses in Hambleton.

There were nine categories in the 2016 Business Awards, including ‘Community Contribution’, ‘Engaging Young Minds’, ‘Hambleton Champion’, and ‘Apprentice Champion’.

Lauren was nominated by Michelle Wilson, Marketing Manager, for ‘Graduate Champion’, as it is given to a graduate that has shown the greatest development in their role since joining the business and has contributed most to the business.

The criteria by which her nomination was judged included, how she demonstrated a close fit to the category chosen, how she is inspirational, her lasting impact on the business, and her ability to work well with other people and organisations.

The awards ceremony was held at the Civic Centre in Northallerton on 7 July.

Mel Smith, Marketing Executive, collected the award on Lauren’s behalf, as she was on holiday in Ayia Napa.

Lauren said: “I was really pleased when I heard I had won the Graduate Champion award. It’s nice to be recognised for the work I have done, and I’m lucky to be part of such a lovely team at Analox.”

Michelle said: “Lauren deserved that award and I am so proud of her for what she has achieved so far. She has been with the company for just over a year, and in that time she has already proven to be a very skilled and resourceful person who has become an asset to the team. Her graphic design work is fantastic and her creative input has helped overhaul the look of Analox so we accurately represent the forward-thinking company that we are.”
