North East-born Tom Seed is celebrating after qualifying as a lawyer and securing a position in Muckle LLP’s sports, education and charities team. The team is one of the largest and fastest growing at Muckle, with 15 members and counting.
Tom joined Muckle in September 2022 on its graduate training programme. During his training contract, Tom also undertook seats in the employment, real estate and construction teams, gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of technical law.
Prior to joining Muckle, Tom obtained a degree in law from Newcastle University. He then worked as a paralegal and gained broad experience in planning and infrastructure, as well as residential conveyancing before commencing his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Northumbria University.
Tom said: “I am delighted to have now qualified as a solicitor. Muckle has always stood out to me as an approachable and positive law firm with a first-class national reputation. I couldn’t be happier to build my career here and continue learning from the brilliant partners and supervisors.
“No two days are the same in this team, the work is very stimulating and varied which allows me to draw from all my previous experience. There’s a such a wealth of expertise here; it’s great to build my knowledge while also knowing I’m making a positive impact. As a sports fan, it’s valuable to share common interests with many of my clients who are involved in sport, from household names to grassroots organisations.
