Luxury holiday park specialists, Leisure Resorts, is launching a brand-new development in the Yorkshire Dales this May Bank Holiday.

Showcasing the brands’ 5-star stance, the opening represents their first foray into the burgeoning lodge rental market, with a £12 million investment creating the Yorkshire Dales’ newest and arguably the most luxurious holiday destination, with the creation of 35 jobs. The level of investment, one of the largest in the area for decades, will also support in driving tourism to the region.

One of three award-winning parks owned by Leisure Resorts, Aysgarth Lodge Holidays is the first to benefit from the brand’s new positioning and investment approach, offering guests the ultimate retreat in gorgeous accommodation with first-class service and facilities. All of Leisure Resorts sites are now available to book via its holiday expert booking partner, Hoseasons.

This approach is aligned with that of Hoseasons’ which aims to offer consumers complete confidence through a commitment to excellence, which will serve as a booking agent to drive brand awareness at a national level.

With community at its heart, the entire development is inspired by and supportive of its surroundings. From onsite Experience Managers to the goal to be a plastic-free and sourcing wherever possible from nearby farms, manufacturers and suppliers – great experiences, giving back and celebrating locality is fundamental to the future footprint of Aysgarth and Leisure Resorts.

Combining luxury with tranquillity, this unique new holiday destination comprises of 75 holiday lodges set within 33 acres of North Yorkshire’s finest landscape. Each boasts beautiful views, a private hot tub and decked area in which to relax. Furthermore, the cosy, contemporary interiors and modern conveniences make for a homely home-away-from-home feel all-year round.

For the children amongst us or simply the young at heart, within the grounds there is an adventure playground and Molly’s farm, home to two Kune Kune pigs, Peppa and George, as well as a host of other animals including Ryland Sheep, White Chipmunks, Alpacas and Donkeys.

For those seeking something a little more grown up Aysgarth is the perfect location in which to fish, cycle, BBQ or simply spend quality time with those you care for. And with a dog friendly lodges available, there’s no better place to go for a lovely long walk.

With one-bedroom Scandinavian Retreat and an array of two, three and four-bedroom lodges of various designs and high specifications, this development can cater for everyone from singles and couples to families and groups.

Fully fitted kitchens and Samsung Smart TVs as standard in every room, mean that guests can lounge away in the privacy and comfort of their own accommodation but for those feeling more social, a visit to Falls End, the Aysgarth’s own bar and restaurant, is a must. With menusserved from breakfast into the evening, local ingredients and dishes are championed throughout.

Gary Molloy, Managing Director at Leisure Resorts, said: “For too long time park holidays have been perceived as a cheap and lower quality choice. Aysgarth is our first-step to proving that need not be the case, placing exceptional, purpose-built, individual lodges within the most beautiful of settings which is finely equipped.  Enabling singles, couples, families and groups to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy quality time together is our ambition and with close to full occupancy in our opening week, it seems that the British public welcome that very much.”

Located just a 10-minute walk from the alluring villages of West Burton and Aysgarth, guests will have the best of both worlds. From enjoying al fresco dining set to the backdrop of the rolling hills to visiting the many shops, cafes and local pubs in the area, with award-winning visitor attractions such as the Castle Bolton and The Wensleydale Creamery but a stones-throw away, visitors can have it all.
