Local school performs Christmas nativity at Ouseburn Farm

Over 60 pupils from Byker Primary School in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne attended Ouseburn Farm to perform their Christmas nativity.

The Year Two pupils aged six and seven years old performed ‘Cock-a-Doodle-Christmas’ within the barn area with real animals as they played out their nativity.  The production was written by Caroline Hoile from Newcastle-based children’s music publisher, Grumpy Sheep Music.

The nativity has become an annual event at the farm with Dorothy Ellis, Education Co-ordinator visiting the school all year round to deliver workshops and teach songs
