The two-floor facility also boasts a reception waiting area, 5 desk office space with orthopaedic office seating, bathroom, kitchen facilities and cinema/meeting room with 70-inch television and projector screen. The fibre optic star ceiling lighting and speaker system provides the finishing touch.

You may wonder why the facility hire is such value for money. Owner and Managing Director Michael said “As we run sister company CARRO Studio, our business is primarily the wedding industry. As busy wedding photographers, the majority of time between weddings is spent editing. It is a shame not to make full use of the premises”. Amateur photographers are welcome to the studio with additional options available to include training and technical support in a non-judgemental environment. Whether you are a complete beginner or professional, the team are on hand to assist.

Co-owner Kathryn explains that “Working alone can be isolating. We welcome everyone with the kettle on and a space at the desk ready.” Deputy Manager Michael Gatenby asserts that “Health and safety compliance is a key priority of the team. We ensure that our equipment is PAT tested, staff are DBS checked and first aid qualified, the facility has fully stocked first aid boxes and a multi-purpose fire extinguisher.”

The team are heavily involved with educational opportunities and have partnered with local educational establishments and charity Leo’s Neonatal. Being able to give back to all members of the community, whether by training provision, work-based learning experiences or to kickstart local businesses is within the mission statement of the company.
