Poll Cards will be sent out over the next few days to all those who have registered to vote.

Luke Swinhoe, Electoral Registration Officer for Darlington Borough Council, said:

“Poll Cards for the EU Referendum have now been sent out to all those registered to vote in the Borough. Anyone who does not receive theirs by 27 May should get in touch with the election team here to let us know.

“If you have not registered you cannot vote. However, there is still time to register before the deadline of 7 June.  It’s easy to do and only takes a few minutes online.”

The Electoral Commission will also be delivering voting guides for the EU Referendum to all households across the UK this week, 16-21 May. Copies are also available online at www.aboutmyvote.co.uk where you can also find more information about the EU Referendum.

If you are not already on the electoral roll, you need to register by midnight on 7 June 2016 to vote in the EU Referendum.  You can register online atwww.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
