The Stockton based company – which provides a wide range of high quality industrial cleaning solutions to both large and small companies in the chemical and petrochemical sectors – has now introduced a new drain, sewer and interceptor cleaning service to its offering.  This service, available for both existing and potential clients, facilitates the cleaning and removal of waste from drains, sewers, interceptors and lagoons.

Introduced as a new offering late last year, Mantank has already invested £1 million in three new state of the art Proteus ATEX 2 CCTV camera systems – suitable to work in demanding and explosive atmospheres –  as well as two new Muller jet/vacuumation combination units, with a further two to be purchased in May of this year. The company has also recruited twelve additional staff members with plans to further increase this to twenty by this time next year.

Speaking about the new service, Steve Appleby, Operations Manager of Mantank’s drainage cleaning division said “We’re delighted with the success of the new drainage cleaning division so far. We’ve secured twenty new contracts to date from customers both new and existing since it was introduced back in July, which has totally exceeded our initial expectations. As a demonstration of our commitment to providing the best possible service for our clients we have always heavily invested in new vehicles and machinery and this is part of that strategic plan.”

The company was originally established in Manchester in 1995, only opening a Stockton based branch in March, 2013. Since then the company has experienced phenomenal growth increasing its workforce from four to forty in the two and a half years since its launch and recently buying its own offices in Portrack Lane, a move which the company says seals its commitment to the North East.

Richard Valks, General Manager at Mantank commented “Since opening our depot in the North East Mantank has gone from strength to strength and we’ve been absolutely thrilled with our achievements so far. Our plan of sustained long term capital investment into the company, coupled with our total commitment to the client and providing the highest level of customer care has massively contributed to this success as well as the long standing support of a hardworking and dedicated team”.

Mantank works with a range of small and large companies carrying out a range of services including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, vacuumation, industrial cleaning, tank cleaning and plant decommissioning.
