Market Time for Stockton’s Kiddiwinks

Screen Shot 2015-06-24 at 10.42.32STOCKTON Town Centre will host a specialist market with little ones in mind on Saturday (18 July).

From 10am until 4pm shoppers can peruse an abundance of high quality and unique goods for babies, toddlers, young children and even treats for mums-to-be.

And there will be plenty going on to keep the kiddiwinks entertained too with a full programme of free children’s activities throughout the day including a teddy bear’s picnic, arts and crafts, comic creation, balloon making, face painting, music and even a Rockband competition.

Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, Councillor David Rose, said: “What better way to start the school summer holidays than with a market for children and their parents and carers.  More than 600 people attended last year’s Kiddiwinks Market and I’m sure its return will be just as successful.

“There will be so much to see and do and it is also the perfect opportunity to explore the new-look Stockton Town Centre.  Whether you want to sit and relax beside the fountain, pop into the many new independent shops that are making Stockton their home or stop off for a drink or something to eat at one of the town’s cafes or restaurants – you can really make a day of it!”
