A national marketing event is returning to the North East with a range of seminars, guest speakers and exhibitors.
marketingSHOWCASE, which was established in 2016, is hosting an event at St James’ Park, Newcastle, on Tuesday 7th June.
There will be talks from seven keynote speakers, run alongside an exhibition of leading marketing companies, including PR agency Harvey & Hugo’s flexible PR brand Pay-as-Hugo and digital marketing agency White Digital.
Event director Ashley Jones said: “The showcase is open to all professional marketers across the North East and we have room for about 200 in the venue.
“We’ve got an exciting line-up of keynote speakers, talking about such topics as how to boost your marketing ROI, the psychology behind email marketing and the big changes to Facebook advertising.
“We’re expecting the session on Facebook and Instagram ads by James Urquhart, co-founder and managing director of Let’s Run Social, to be particularly popular. James will be talking about what broke Facebook and Instagram marketing in 2021 and what major changes to both platforms have meant for companies needing and wanting to use them for lead generation in 2022.”
marketingSHOWCASE hosts events around the UK, in cities such as Newcastle, Southampton and Sheffield. This will be the second time Newcastle has hosted the showcase, after previously taking part in 2020, as the past two years’ events have taken place online due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Ashley added: “It’s great to be back hosting real-life events and guests can look forward to four busy hours full of marketing advice, tips and guidance from some of the most influential marketers in the business.
“I always say that I promise they will leave the event with at least one brilliant new idea they can implement straight away.”
