MIDDLESBROUGH’S new elected Mayor Dave Budd today named the members of his new Executive.
The move follows last week’s Council and Mayoral elections which saw Mr Budd elected following the departure of Ray Mallon.

Environment Cllr Tracy Harvey

Finance and Governance Cllr Nicky Walker
Culture, Leisure and Sport Cllr Lewis Young
Cllr Rooney will also take on the role of Deputy Mayor previously held by Mr Budd.
Mr Budd said: “We are at an important point in Middlesbrough’s history, and one that calls for strong leadership.
“While the town faces undoubted challenges, there are exciting opportunities ahead and a great deal about which we can be very positive.
“The Executive has a key role to play in shaping Middlesbrough’s future, and I’m pleased to have been able to draw on a considerable range of experience and ability.
“It’s also a chance to introduce some new faces, and I am confident they will add a fresh dimension to the team.”
