The Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Richard Porthouse, is hosting a charity Mediterranean night on Wednesday, 6 April at Mambo Cocktail Dining on Winchester Street.

Tickets for the event, which runs from 7pm to 10.30pm, are £10 and include a Mediterranean buffet, entertainment and a raffle.

The money raised will go towards the Mayor’s Charity which the year is supporting Cancer Connections, the Great North Air Ambulance and the South Tyneside branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.

The Mayor said: “This is a great opportunity to enjoy excellent food and company while raising money for worthwhile causes.

“This is one of a number of events planned to help support charities that do invaluable work for people here in the Borough.”
