21 at Home has been launched to offer some of the ultimate gourmet gifts for people in the North East to give this Christmas.
Sweets treats – from gingerbread houses to meringue mushrooms and baubles through to Christmas puddings and cakes – have been hand made by the pastry kitchen at renowned Newcastle restaurant, 21, Trinity Gardens, Quayside.

For Terry Laybourne’s 21 Hospitality Group the shop is a much more extravagant set up than in previous years, with a more extensive and mixed range of goodies.
For the first time, and in recognition of the Saltwater Fish Company fish bar and fishmonger in Fenwick Food Hall, there is a premium range of fresh seafood platters on offer; customers can pre-order a Christmas Oyster Box, a Christmas Sharing Platter (ready to eat), and a Festive Fruits de Mer (ready to eat).
In keeping with the season, the pastry chefs at 21 have created a whole range of hand-
crafted treats that have been designed as both table pieces and ideal small gifts for Christmas stockings.
And this year, two unique gourmet hampers have been created, featuring some of 21’s favourite, handmade, food items.
Chef Terry Laybourne said: “There’s always been a demand for our handmade, sweet treats at Christmas time and these have always proved popular.
