MILLER Homes is searching for budding young artists in the North East to help it spread festive cheer as it launches its annual children’s Christmas card design competition.
The leading housebuilder is asking children across the region to doodle a creative design, showcasing what they love most about the festive season and their home – whether it is Santa’s sleigh sitting on their roof, a stocking by the fire or presents under the tree.
The most creative design will be featured on the front of Miller Homes North East’s 2017 Christmas card, which will be given to homeowners moving into their new Miller home this December and its corporate partners.
In addition, the winning card will be displayed in the sales centre of the youngster’s local development, and the lucky designer will also receive their very own copies of the card to give to their friends and family.
Andrew Somerville, regional sales manager of Miller Homes North East, said: “We once again wanted to give children living across the North East the opportunity to help us celebrate the festive season. We believe that a card designed for us by one of the region’s artistic youngsters adds a great personal touch as we send our well wishes to our new homeowners and regional business partners this Christmas.
“We have received a fantastic level of entries in previous years and we are looking forward to seeing what designs are created by budding young artists living in our local communities this year.”
Entry forms are available to collect now from the sales centres at any of Miller Homes’ North East developments, which are open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
Completed entry forms must be returned to a Miller Homes North East sales centres by 5pm on Thursday 30 November 2017. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges from Miller Homes, with the lucky winner being notified by Friday 8 December 2017.
