Mineral House- A New Luxury Concept in Newcastle

Screen Shot 2015-07-23 at 09.08.02A new luxury spa and well-being centre is set to open in a prime location in Newcastle when Crowne Plaza Newcastle – Stephenson Quarter opens its doors in late summer 2015.

Mineral House is the new spa, pool and gymnasium set within the plush surroundings of Crowne Plaza Newcastle – Stephenson Quarter. Facilities include a 10-metre feature pool, spa pool, steam room, gymnasium and three treatment rooms. Spa visitors will be pampered with a selection of holistic sensory treatments from the sumptuous Germaine de Capuccini skincare range.

Susan Hall, 35, is the newly appointed spa and leisure manager and brings over 15 years of experience in the health, wellness and fitness industry.  She joins Mineral House from Slaley Hall where as spa and leisure manager, she headed up a team of 30 people.

Susan’s experience spans the globe with previous employment at Hilton Hotel in Cairns and salons in Australia. She has also worked with nationally renowned hotel chains including Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.

Commenting on her appointment, Susan said: “I am very excited for the opening of Mineral House. Our aim is to create an oasis of tranquility right in the centre of the bustling city. We will offer the whole wellness package, from holistic treatments to bespoke personal training.

“Our premium products cannot be found in any other spa in Newcastle, providing an exclusive spa experience where the mind, body and spirit can be treated through a variety of sensations and specialised rituals with the very best products.”

The gym within Mineral House will be fully equipped with the latest TECHNO GYM machines and personal trainers will be on-hand to advise and train in dietary and fitness requirements. It will also offer a modern take on exercise using the city for urban obstacle training. In addition to Mineral House the hotel will have a Run Station that will supply fresh fruit and towels along with a Newcastle City run map of suggested routes for all running abilities.
