Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

MIXING UP THE DRINKS MENU AT SAN LORENZO

A LEADING North East restaurant chain is shaking things up behind the bar, with some new additions to the menu.

San Lorenzo, which has venues at Gosforth High Street and Washington’s New Road, has revealed a whole host of new drinks options.

And it includes a first for the Gosforth branch, introducing a range of cocktails to its offering for the very first time.

Diners heading to both restaurants to try a wide range of Italian dishes can now choose to enjoy it with an Aperol Spritz, Dark and Stormy or Amaretto Sour.

Or, other choices on the menu include twists on the classic martini, such as a Pornstar Martini, Espresso Martini and Tiramisu Martini.

Fans of the stronger stuff can choose from more than 30 different gins, with a wide range of spirits, wines, beers and fizz also on offer.

And the menu features illustrations from North East artist Lucy Blake, which bring the drinks to life in a unique way.

Stuart Young, of Cyclone Leisure Ltd, which owns San Lorenzo, is confident the new drinks will be popular with visitors.

“Our bar team have worked really hard to create an exciting menu that ticks every box,” said Stuart.

“We’re always looking for ways to improve the experience of our diners and I think bringing in the new cocktails at our Gosforth venue will be a big hit.

“There’s something for everyone on the new menu and Lucy’s illustrations really add a pop of colour.”
