The MTH Community Choir will perform on Monday, July 6 at 7pm in an evening of choral music from around the world.

The Choir’s fun and lively repertoire encompasses songs from different styles and genres and caters for all tastes in music, from gospel and African chants to classical, jazz and hits from the shows.

The Choir meets every Monday at the Town Hall and is led by professional singers Emily Smith and David Pisaro.

The classes introduce and extend good vocal technique through a mixture of world and folk songs, opera and musical theatre.

Town Hall Business Development Manager Rob Guest said: “The choir is a hugely integral part of the Town Hall and I look forward to celebrating their hard work with what should be a fantastic concert.”
