Houghton le Spring-headquartered 0800 Repair Gas is celebrating after being recognised at a national industry awards.
The heating, gas, insulation and renewables firm was highly commended at the 2018 H&V News Awards in the Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year category.
0800 Repair Gas has enjoyed a record year, buoyed by a landmark, eight-figure contract with npower to deliver a range of ECO services as sole provider to the energy supplier. As a result of the deal, the firm is now operating nationally – ahead of its long-term strategy – and turnover is expected to rise to in excess of £20m.
The H&V News Awards is recognised as the leading and longest running awards ceremony for the construction, heating and plumbing industry.
Established in 2010, 0800 Repair Gas saw the number of boiler installations rise from 3,500 in 2016 to more than 10,000 annually.
The company forms part of Pacifica Group, one of the UK’s largest providers of home services and product warranty. The Group handles in excess of 4,500 jobs per week and employs more than 480 staff.
