Going in to its fifth year National Table Tennis Day, an annual celebration of the sport. Each year thousands of people take part in events at clubs, schools, business and town center’s around England, while millions are reached on social media through the hashtag #TableTennisDay.
To celebrate Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club will have two tables at the Newgate shopping centre in Bishop Auckland on the 18th July 10.00 – 16.00, bats and balls will be provided you just need to turn up! .
“The aim of the event is show the local community that the club is about table tennis for everyone and you don’t have to be a good player to come and enjoy the sport and the facility. We want everyone in the area to be able to enjoy table tennis and what the club offers. So come on down and have some fun playing table tennis.” said Matthew Porter Club Chairman
