Cherry Tree Care Centre in Norton, Stockton on Tees, are proud to cut the red ribbon and unveil the new-look facilities in an open day for the community on Friday April 24.
Residents were encouraged to choose flower themed names for two of the units after it was decided they would be renamed.
It was decided that the areas of the home will now be called ‘Jasmin’ and ‘Sunflower’ named after residents favourite flowers, which tie in well with the Spring-time renaming ceremony and open day.
The home has recently gained a new and highly qualified management team, who are all ready to give the home and its services a spring clean with plenty of new and fresh ideas.
New home manager, Kevin Husband, said: “We wanted to open our home up to the community and show them how great our residents and staff are, and really showcase what we are all about at Cherry Tree.
“We want the day to be so much fun and filled with laughter and happiness. We want to make everyone feel welcome and create great sense of community spirit, it has encouraged us to do events like this more often.”
The home will also welcome entertainment and a bouncy castle, for fun for all of the family.
