We will be soon be offering training to become a Blue Badge Tourist Guide for the North East region. The Training will include the skills necessary to show visitors our Towns, Cities,Villages, Countryside, Buildings, Art, History and much more.
The North East region covers Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Tees Valley and County Durham and includes important tourism destinations such as the Northumberland National Park and the UNESCO sites of Hadrian’s Wall, Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle.
The British Guild of Tourist Guides is accredited as a training provider by the Institute of Tourist Guiding. It is currently offering the prestigious Blue Badge training course for North East England commencing in May 2019 and lasting for one year. Institute accreditation for the Course Programme is in progress.
