New jobs as Teesside Law Firm Goes for Growth

Endeavour Partnership announced at the start of the year that it intended to begin a period of recruitment throughout the company and plans to create a number of new roles in 2016.

Recently, four new recruits have joined the team thanks to a continued demand for Endeavour’s range of legal services.

Louise Gilbey has been recruited as a business development manager and will be responsible for introducing the firm to new market opportunities and enhancing the service offering to its current clients. Louise, from Thornaby, has almost a decade’s experience in account management having worked in prominent roles for Cornerstone Business Solutions, Qwest (Quality Wedding Establishment) and Tesco to name a few.

Amie Kavanagh joins Endeavour’s commercial property department having qualified last year at Ward Hadaway in Newcastle after studying at Northumbria University. Amie, who is originally from Liverpool but now lives in Billingham, has experience with public as well as private sector clients and will be working on aspects such as landlord-tenant issues, commercial purchases and sales and assisting the corporate/commercial team on their transactions.

Also joining the legal team is Laura Kirkpatrick who returns to Endeavour Partnership having trained with the company and qualifying last year. Laura, from Seaton Carew, joins the employment team after a period of time with Eversheds in Newcastle. Laura has been recruited to assist with expanding the employment team’s development thanks to her specialist interests in business immigration issues, tribunal litigation and HR processes.

And John Scullion, from Darlington, has been recruited to the new role of office manager having overseen a team of around 200 in his previous managerial role with a national franchise organisation. John, a keen sailor and a qualified Royal Yachting Association powerboat instructor, will be responsible for managing Endeavour Partnership’s office procedures and administrative processes.

In the last 12 months alone, Endeavour Partnership has created 10 new roles taking staff numbers to 50.

The company, with a reputation spanning over 16 years, provides high quality advice on a range of business law matters including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, litigation, commercial property and corporate recovery and insolvency from its headquarters at Teesdale in Stockton.

Sharon Hutchinson, practice manager at Endeavour Partnership, said: “Endeavour Partnership is such a forward-thinking law firm and it is great to see such a varied mix of new talent joining our team both from legal and non-legal backgrounds. Specialising in business law gives our solicitors the opportunity to develop a depth of knowledge and understanding within their area of work not available in general practice and our clients really respect and appreciate the level of skill and expertise that this brings to their business.

“Our new team members bring with them a range of experience in a multitude of sectors which is already proving beneficial to the company. They complement our current team incredibly well as we offer traditional expertise delivered with a modern, relaxed approach.”
