The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa

Live music’s premier hologram production company Eyellusion present a who’s who of Zappa fan favourite musicians supporting “The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa” hologram tour, which will visit Sage Gateshead for the first time.
The touring unit itself boasts guitarists Ray White and Mike Keneally, bassist Scott Thunes, multi-instrumentalist Robert Martin, Ed Mann and drummer and Zappa archivist Joe “Vaultmeister” Travers.
Hours of never-before-seen Zappa performance footage from the early seventies will form the basis of the “can’t miss” concert spectacle.
This footage, locked away in the Zappa vaults for 44 years, will serve as the basis for what will be the world’s most ambitious hologram tour to date, blending live footage of Frank with outrageous visuals that offer a striking view into his complex musical works.
The tour is produced in close cooperation with the Zappa Family Trust.

The Cult

The Cult have just been confirmed for an exclusive North East show at Sage, Gateshead on May 26th 2019.
The band are considered as one of the most prominent heavy metal revivalist acts in the UK. Famed for their ever-evolving style, The Cult have become an influential force when it comes to genres such as gothic rock, post-punk and grunge.
Since their formation in 1983, the band have built up a rich discography comprising ten albums along with notable tracks including She Sells Sanctuary and Fire Woman.
In spite of various line-up changes and taking a couple of breaks along the way, The Cult have retained a strong fan base in Britain and the US. Part of their endurable nature lies in two of the band’s founding members, Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitarist), always remaining as constant fixtures in the band.
This is currently their only UK headline show confirmed for 2019, so it is advised that people get their tickets quickly.
