The B-52s Plus special guests
Saturday 29 June 2019, 7:00pm

The B-52s are back and ready to rock the UK in their European Farewell Tour. They are visiting the Sage Gateshead as part of their four special, final shows in the UK.

You don’t need to look too hard to see or hear the multi-dimensional influence of The B-52s. Loud anthems like Dance This Mess Around, Love Shack, and Rock Lobster might resound, but the group have quietly impacted alternative music, fashion, and culture over the course of four-plus decades.

Selling more than 20 million albums worldwide, the GRAMMY® award-nominated B52s have ignited a legacy of innovation and inspiration that dates back to 1976.

Holy Moly and The Crackers Plus support
Friday 4 October, Sage Two, 8pm

Holy Moly and The Crackers make riotous party music for the masses. Their newest album, Take A Bite is a concise; passionate take on folk, blues and indie rock.

Their party-like live show has toured the UK and Europe across festivals and venues, including an acclaimed set at Glastonbury in 2017.

Seeing Holy Moly And The Crackers was not attending a gig, it was immersing yourself in a show. It was circus, it was sideshow, it was international, but most of all it was bloody exhilarating – Rockshot Mag
