Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

New phase launches at Story Homes’ Wynyard development

Award-winning housebuilder, Story Homes, has launched the second phase of its Fallows Park development, which includes a range of four and five-bedroom homes set in the exclusive Wynyard Park estate.

Fallows Park, which features a collection of 10 house types, launched in late 2015. The developer has sold nearly all of the available homes on phase one, and a number of residents have moved into the executive homes.

Construction is now in progress on phase two, which will include 40 detached homes – including some of the best-selling house types from phase one as well as two new house types, the ‘Gosforth’ and the ‘Oxford’. The first phase two completions are scheduled for winter 2017.

The first of the new properties for sale will be released on Saturday 19 August, when Story Homes will host a part exchange event at Fallows Park.

Gillian Bell, Sales Manager at Story Homes, said: “Homes at Fallows Park have been in high demand, so we are pleased to be launching phase two and offering more properties for sale. The sought-after location at Wynyard Park, excellent transport links, and the high quality of the homes have meant that this development has been extremely popular.

“We believe that we are offering something different from other developers in the North East, so we look forward to showing families around our show homes at our upcoming event and introducing them to the superior finish and Prestige specification of our properties at Fallows Park.”

The Wynyard Park housing development, on which Fallows Park is located, continues to progress with over 150 residents now moved in. When completed, the scheme will comprise over 2,000 homes.

Wynyard Park residents have access to a range of facilities nearby including a pub, village store, dentist, gym, physiotherapist, children’s nursery and primary school. A Welcome Lodge providing 24/7 security and concierge service for residents is about to open and plans are underway for an additional pub and primary school on site.

Matt Johnson, Wynyard Park’s Development Director, said: “Our vision is to create a unique living environment that offers a high quality way of life for people living here. We deliberately chose to partner with a limited number of housing developers and Story Homes reflects our aims perfectly with its focus on high quality build and specification for its homes.”

Story Homes’ family-friendly part exchange event will take place between 11.00am and 4.00pm on Saturday 19 August at Fallows Park, Wynyard. Sales Executives as well as representatives from Mortgage Pathways and Northgate Estate Agents will be on hand, and the event will include a cocktail demonstration from The Lakes Distillery, giant garden games for children and a visit from the developer’s mascot, Builder Bear.

Story Homes has rapidly expanded into the North East in recent years, with Fallows Park being one of its 11 developments across Northumberland, North Tyneside, County Durham and Teesside. In March this year, the housebuilder was awarded a five-star rating for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and the National House Building Council (NHBC) for the fourth consecutive year. Customers rated their buying experience with an outstanding satisfaction rate of 92 per cent, and more than nine in 10 customers said they would recommend Story Homes to a friend.
