NEWCASTLE’S FAVOURITE TV personalities were looking a lot paler than usual, after being the first to try out the North East’s scariest Halloween attraction.
Kyle Christie, James Tinsdale and Nathan Henry, best known for their time on Geordie Shore, were joined by model Leon Scott for an exclusive behind the scenes preview of Psycho Path presents Fearground ahead of its opening next week (11 October).
And the scream park, which takes place from 11 to 31 October at Lintz Hall Farm, near Burnopfield, is ramping up the scares this year with three new attractions.
The boys had the chance to test out the fear factor of iScream – a disorientating maze with killer clowns creeping around every corner – and after being chased out of the other end, Kyle, James, Nathan and Leon were full of praises for the terrifying new addition.
“I was laughing before I went in but that was so much worse than I was expecting. It’s absolutely brilliant,” said James.
This was echoed by the others and Nathan said: “It’s so scary but in a good way, I already want to go again and I’ll definitely be back for the real thing.”
Christiano Crawford, of 700 Acres Ltd, which organised the event, is delighted the attractions are exceeding expectations.
“What the team have managed to bring to life this year is truly incredible and some of the scares really do take your breath away,” said Christiano.
“It’s great to see the boys buzzing with excitement and adrenaline and full of screams and laughter because this is exactly the reactions we were hoping for.
“It’s an entirely new event that is worlds apart from anything else out there and we can’t wait to officially open the site for everyone to see what we have created.”
Alongside iScream, those brave enough to visit the scream park will be able to try the Psycho Path route – which was a sold out success last year – navigate a fiery wasteland in Psycho City and enjoy some creepy entertainment in Anarchy Arcade, along with a funfair and a huge food and drink village.
Tickets for Psycho Path presents Fearground start at £27 and those aged 13 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
