Developed by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, the new “For Adults” section of the Stockton Information Directory (SID) website is packed with information about activities, classes, support services or events taking place in the Borough.

It covers a wide range of topics including health and wellbeing, housing options, carers, money matters, staying safe, Stockton Dementia Services, employment and volunteering.

Local organisations, charities and businesses which provide services to people living in and around Stockton Borough can also quickly and easily upload their information, activities or services onto the Stockton Information Directory free of charge.

Councillor Jim Beall, Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Health, said: “This new user friendly website brings together a wealth of information to all those who need it – in one place. All the information will be regularly updated so residents, carers, families and professionals can access guidance, support and advice on a wide range of topics.”

The “For Adults” section complements the existing “Children and Families” and “Local Offer” sections of the Stockton Information Directory website.
