A North East energy consultancy is offering up to 50 new job opportunities after a successful site reopening following the COVID-19 lockdown.

The Green Energy Advice Bureau, a consultancy that specializes in the procurement of business energy, is looking for sales staff to kick start their career within the energy sector.

Candidates will ideally have at least one year of experience in a sales role, and a previous understanding of the energy market would be desirable, although it is not essential as the business offers fantastic training opportunities and career development programs.

The energy industry has been hit significantly with redundancies at British Gas, OVO Energy, and BP. However, The Green Energy Advice Bureau continues to grow both at its’ Sunderland HQ and South Shields premises.

The consultancy, which helps find customers the best bespoke energy solutions is currently recruiting for multiple roles including Lead Generators, Energy Consultants, and Sales Administrators for both their Sunderland and South Shields offices.

Both offices have been refurbished to comply with COVID-19 social distancing measures and to continue to promote a safe and healthy working environment including protective screens, staggered seating, and providing protective PPE for every staff member.

Paul Cobb, managing director, commented on the latest recruitment push: “We are looking for dedicated sales staff who are looking to further develop their career. We have the tools to help you succeed and achieve your goals, the opportunities are there.”

Paul also added on the recent return to the office: “It’s fantastic being back in the office and being back in this environment. Everyone has adapted well with the changes and productivity is better than ever.”

Candidates looking to apply can do so by emailing their CV to careers@greenpoweradvice.co.uk.
