An Engineering Company based in Blaydon upon Tyne are celebrating their 20-year anniversary. Impress Group, founded in 1997 have continued to expand, despite the uncertainty in the Oil & Gas Industry and are delighted to be celebrating this special milestone.
Impress Groups MD, George Peel said: “Never in a million years did we think we would still be here in 20 years’ time. The biggest change has been the continual advancement of Technology and the Machinery. The last twenty years have been a great learning curve and we have had some great times. I hope we continue to be as successful in the future and still enjoy the job as much as ever”.
Steve Young CO-MD said: “George and I came through the ranks together in 1976, we are of the same mindset and have a great business partnership. Our goal in 1997, was to employ fifteen people and we now have over 100 and are still expanding.
He added: “When we started we employed four members of staff and we only had one fly press. I never imagined we would grow into a large group of five companies. A lot of companies, both directly and indirectly working in the Oil & Gas industry, have faced tough times, we have reached out to different markets, to ensure the growth of the company continues to rise.
