Best Western Plus Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield has been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year, in recognition of its consistently high visitor ratings.

The four star hotel, owned and operated by Ramside Estates, is among just 10 per cent of accommodation, restaurants and attractions listed on the international review site to achieve this accolade.

It is also one of only 379 Best Western properties in the world to be inducted into TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame.

John Adamson, Owner of Best Western Plus Hardwick Hall Hotel, said: “This highly coveted award is amazing recognition for Hardwick Hall Hotel and its team of dedicated staff, who all work tirelessly to deliver a positive customer experience.

“I am absolutely thrilled that our high-quality accommodation and standard of service has been highlighted in this way and helped position us as one of the world’s top hotels for visitor satisfaction.”

Best Western Plus Hardwick Hall Hotel, adjoining Hardwick Country Park, offers a range of bedrooms, as well as The Rib Room Steakhouse and Grill and a wide variety of function suites.

It plays host to the annual Lobster Charity Ball and North East Oyster Festival, as well as popular, one-day music extravaganza, Hardwick Live, which returns to the grounds on Saturday August 22.

The family-friendly festival, which is expected to attract thousands of music fans from across the UK, will be headlined by British band James, with performances by 10cc, Embrace, The Beat and very special guests, Razorlight.
