Quick Hydraulics, one of the North East’s leading hydraulics companies, has announced a partnership with leading hydraulic hose and fittings manufacturer, Stauff.
The new Stauff Technical Partnership will see Quick Hydraulics as an approved manufacturer of the international Stauff brand, producing and distributing Stauff hoses from its Tyneside facility and a source of other products from the extensive Stauff range.
To meet the high standard of Stauff products, Quick Hydraulics has invested extensively in new equipment, including a new hose cutter and hose swaging machine, enabling the manufacture of hose assemblies to exact customer specifications.
Quick Hydraulics has also set up a secure pressure test facility, to enable hose testing up to 1.5 times the working pressure. The maximum working pressure of Stauff hoses is 350 bar, compared to a conventional garden hose which operates at up to 10 bar.
Quick Hydraulics, part of the Altec Engineering Group, was founded on Tyneside and has more than 35 years of experience, providing hydraulic service and repair and 20 years of experience running its unique, City and Guilds-accredited, hydraulics training programmes. It has an extensive client book including Nissan, Caterpillar, British Engineering, Siemens Energy, Hartlepool Power Station and SMD. The new partnership with Stauff will see it expanding its product and service range.
Based in Sheffield, Stauff has been operating in the UK since 1977, with a state-of-the-art distribution and manufacturing facility of hydraulic hose assemblies and manipulated tube assemblies. Its partnership with Quick Hydraulics will see its product-offer and availability improved for business across the North East.
