A North East independent financial adviser is working with a top London-based business consultancy to help strengthen its services to clients and become a specialist, market-leading provider of advice for those approaching retirement.
Designed specifically for growing financial services firms, the 36-month programme aims to coach financial advice firms on how to maximise their business potential and become more commercially viable while maintaining their client-focus.
Stephen Sumner, managing director at Explore Wealth Management, said:
“One of the first questions clients ask when they start thinking about retirement is: ‘Will I have enough money to live on for the rest of my life and be free of financial worry?’ Other commonly asked questions include: ‘Can I still afford to go on holiday as often?’, ‘Can I still afford to replace my car every few years?’ or, ‘If I were to die, would my partner be financially secure?’
“We are already working with clients to help provide the answers to all of these questions and more, to help them plan ahead for a happy retirement, but by becoming a specialist in this field, we are expanding this service further so we can help more people with their plans for the future.
“Making changes to how we advise our clients and concentrating on providing specialist services to the over 55s market has led to substantial growth within our company in recent years.
“We have rebranded, moved premises, improved our services beyond recognition, increased the number of clients we look after and moved away from commission to a fee-based structure, all of which have been decisions we have taken with the wellbeing of our clients and the longevity of the business in mind.
“Next year will see Explore Wealth Management celebrate its 40th anniversary.
“By working with FP Advance, we are now actively preparing Explore Wealth Management for the next 40 years in business.”
Brett Davidson, founder and management consultant at FP Advance, said:
“I love working with businesses that put clients at the forefront of what they do. Stephen and his team are always looking to improve and it’s a real pleasure to be taking them though my Uncover Your Business Potential course.”
Voted one of the UK’s top 250 independent financial advisers in a survey conducted by service comparison website, VouchedFor, Explore Wealth Management prides itself on its customer service and has to date helped over 350 clients across the North East to plan ahead for their financial future.
