Lavingham Planning Consultants Ltd is delighted to have reached its first anniversary milestone.
The Northallerton based planning consultancy was set up by Andrew Cunningham in May 2016 after having completed ten years in the Development Management and Planning Policy team at Hambleton District Council.
Andrew was keen to apply his specialist knowledge of planning in a rural, urban and heritage context provide comprehensive, good value advice, tailored to the client’s needs, to achieve the best possible outcome for clients, and to add value to their property, portfolio or land holding.
Within the first year, Andrew has managed over 30 planning applications with successful outcomes as well as numerous appeals and has enjoyed working with a wide range of private clients, small scale developments and rural projects.
Andrew is looking forward to continued growth of the business in its second year and is focusing on raising awareness with all Clients that every planning proposal is important regardless of its size and complexity, and that Lavingham remain on hand to help at all stages of the process.
Andrew, is a Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has an MSc in Town Planning from Newcastle university, which means Andrew has a depth and quality of experience in a wide range of planning fields.
Andrew said: “The opportunity over the last year to help clients from the other side of the fence has been enormously enjoyable, and the level of job satisfaction from helping clients’ achieve their goals is phenomenal. By using the knowledge I have gained at the Council, and working with a great team of other specialist consultants when required, we have been able to take so many schemes smoothly through the planning process, reaching a successful outcome in a time and cost effective way.”
Moving into the second year of business, Lavingham Planning Consultants is looking to introduce FREE consultations for new clients within the North Yorkshire area to provide advice at the earliest stage of the development process.
