Award-winning Punch-Drunk Comedy are offering half of the profits from their marquee Christmas events to local fundraisers – and anyone can apply!

The comedy club, who last year staged a huge charity boxing extravaganza hosted by TV star Rhod Gilbert, to help stricken North East lad, Kian Musgrove receive life-saving cancer treatment in the US, are at it again.

Punch-Drunk’s Gav Humphries said, “All we ask is that you share your Christmas celebrations with us!  If you’re currently trying to raise funds, whether for a charity or to buy equipment for a kids football team, and everything in-between, we’d like to help you!  Gather as many of your friends as you can, join us at one of our Christmas specials, and keep half of the ticket price for your cause – it’s that simple!”

The events in question will feature a staggering lineup of comedy talent including Scottish stars, Iain Sterling (The voice of TV’s “Love Island”) and Daniel Sloss (Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow), with dates in Cramlington (Dec 18th), Blyth (Dec 19th), and Ashington (Dec 20th).  For more information, visit www.facebook.com/PunchDrunkComedy or to apply contact Gav directly via eMail at pdcBlyth@gmail.com
