Gisborough Hall has unveiled a range of events to celebrate Valentine’s Day whether with a loved one or not.
The four star hotel, in Guisborough, has launched a ‘Galentine’s Day’ spa day aimed at ladies wanting to enjoy something different with their friends rather than partners.
The spa day, in the hotel’s Revival Zone spa, includes an expert hot stones back, neck and shoulder massage followed by homemade cakes and a glass of wine by the fire.
As well as this spa day, Gisborough Hall also has a ‘Heart Warming’ couples’ spa day which includes the hot stones back, neck and shoulder massage in Revival Zone’s luxury, candlelit double treatment room followed by a Bailey’s or Drambuie coffee.
These spa days run throughout February and cost from £79 per couple.
In addition, on Valentine’s Day itself Gisborough Hall’s two AA Rosette restaurant, Chaloner’s, will have a one-off tasting menu developed by its head chef, Jason Moore, featuring a host of Yorkshire dishes including local chicken ravioli, seared king scallops, Yorkshire lamb and local cheeses. Prices for the seven courses tasting dinner start from £45 per person with wine-pairing also available.
And between 8th and 20th February, a special Couples’ Afternoon Tea will be on offer for £43 per couple including a glass of prosecco and a range of Valentine’s-themed treats.
Grade II-listed Gisborough Hall, which dates back to 1857, was fully restored in 2002 following an investment of over £10 million by the Gisborough family, who privately own the hotel itself and live on site. The hotel is now also a Macdonald Associate hotel.
In the last year a rolling programme of re-investment started with the 71 bedrooms and suites, ballroom and the G Bar and Bistro undergoing renovations.
