Christmas and New Year holiday waste and recycling collection arrangements
Please check your bin collection calendar on our website at www.ryedale.gov.uk for details of the dates of your collections over the Christmas period.
All collections due Friday, 25 December will be collected Monday, 28 December 2015.
All collections due w/c 28 December 2015 will be either on your usual collection day or one day late.
Please place your wheelie bin or recycling containers out for collection on your usual day.
Please have your waste out for collection by 6.00 a.m. as collection times may vary.
Any extra side waste will be collected with your first collection after Christmas during week commencing 4 January 2016.
Any extra cans, glass and paper will be collected with your first recycling collection after Christmas. Please place in non-returnable bags next to your kerbside box.
Small Christmas trees may go in your garden waste bin but please ensure the lid is fully closed for health and safety reasons or they can be taken to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre (skip site) at Malton, Thornton le Dale and Wombleton.
All tinsel and plastic decorations must be removed as these can interfere in the composting process, or may mean that a load will be rejected.
