North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

NORTH EAST FAMILIES REALLY wanting to get into the Christmas spirit are being invited to snap up the last few tickets for a seasonal panto treat this weekend.

The Stadium of Light is staging its magical Witches and Wizards pantomime for the final time this Sunday (18 December) and there is still an opportunity to buy tickets.

The event is a tale of sorcery and magic, with a show packed with singing, dancing, magic tricks – and even an appearance by Sunderland AFC’s mascots, Samson and Delilah.

The panto runs from 11am to 1pm and tickets are £7.50 each, with the option to stay at the stadium for lunch afterwards at an additional cost.

Rachel Divers, Head of Commercial Sales at SAFC, said the show was a real opportunity to get into the spirit of Christmas.

“Everyone loves a panto and this one not only has lots of festive magic but also has a real Sunderland feel to it because Samson and Delilah will be appearing,” she said.

“It’s a great chance to have a couple of hours break from all the Christmas preparations and to have fun with all the family.”
