A COMPANY that supports the needs of financial advisers and planners across the UK is doubling its base in the North East.

Para-Sols has expanded the size of its Darlington base – moving from 500 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft at the award-winning Lingfield Point business park – and further growth is planned.

Cathi Harrison, director, said: “This is our third office space at Lingfield Point and we expect to double again in a year or two.

“We have a Leeds office and we are looking to bring those members of staff up to Darlington to consolidate one space.

“We also run a graduate scheme each year and will be running this again in June – so we needed to make sure we had space for two new graduates.”

With the office needs now taken care of Cathi has her sights set on achieving national recognition, as the leading support services provider to financial planners.

She added: “Being within Lingfield Point has been brilliant as it has enabled us to grow and to only take on extra office space as we need it.

“This means we don’t have to commit to contracts for more space than we need and gives us the flexibility to change quickly if we find we are growing faster than expected.

“The team at Lingfield Point are brilliant, very supportive and really want to see the businesses within the space be successful.”

Estate manager Eddie Humphries said: “It is always great to celebrate business growth, especially when we know we played a part in that success.

“Lingfield Point’s 3,000 customers are able to take advantage of first class facilities at the best postcode in town – from fabulous broadband connectivity – essential for today’s businesses – to our 24 hour on-site concierge and security service and extensive car parking.

“Lingfield Point also has excellent road and rail links which means the rest of the UK is within easy reach.”
