Leading shipping container and self-storage business the Parsons Containers Group has announced that Lynda Knight is joining the company. Knight will join the firm, headquartered in Sedgefield in County Durham, on 2 October in the role of resourcing and sales manager, as the business continues to build on recent growth and expansion across the UK.

She has worked with international container leasing and management company Textainer for 30 years, initially in the accounts department, followed by a period in a supporting role to the former company chairman, and 25 years selling and supplying containers to businesses like Parsons. Parsons Containers was founded by entrepreneur Ean Parsons in 2000. The Parsons Containers Group of companies now also includes national brand ContainerContainer and one of the UK’s largest container self-storage businesses, U Hold The Key Self-Storage. The Parsons Group and its individual companies operate on 10 sites, with all divisions experiencing significant growth in recent years.
