FOODIES can enjoy dishes from around the world and be in with a chance to win a £5,000 prize, which could take them around the world, too.
Some of the biggest names in the restaurant business have opened at intu Metrocentre, Gateshead in recent months – and now the centre is giving diners who visit them a special summer treat.
They are inviting anyone who spends £50 or more, across at least three of the centre’s cafes and restaurants, to take part in a prize draw which runs until 3 July.
Entrants must hand in their receipts at the Customer Services Desks to be entered into a competition to win £5,000 worth of intu Gift Cards, which could be spent on anything from restaurants or meals, to clothing or even holidays across the globe.
Entrants will also receive a summer beach bag decorated with the slogan, Life’s Delicious, Enjoy It.
The winner will be chosen at random after intu’s annual Everyone’s Invited weekend of summer fun on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, when characters from Star Wars and Disney will make an appearance, along with fairground rides, an indoor beach in Town Square and live music for the whole family.
Helen Atkinson, marketing manager at intu Metrocentre, said: “There are more than 40 cafes and restaurants, with nine new restaurants to test your taste buds and they are all taking part – so now there’s more reason than ever to combine a shopping trip with lunch or dinner.”
Among the new additions to the Qube at intu Metrocentre, are burger restaurants Byron and Five Guys, TGI Friday’s, Barburrito, Chiquito, ASK Italian, Bella Italia, Coast to Coast and Thaikhun.
