PDL Solutions (Europe) Ltd secure Viking Seatech framework agreement

PDL Solutions (Europe) Ltd, the engineering design and analysis consultancy based in the North East of England, has secured a two-year framework agreement with specialist marine service provider, Viking SeaTech.

The framework agreement will see PDL engineers providing advanced structural engineering design, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and global dynamic analysis support to Viking SeaTech’s North Sea Region engineering team.

Viking SeaTech, which has its North Sea Region headquarters in Aberdeen, supplies a comprehensive range of marine equipment and services to the offshore oil and gas industry. It has more than 20 years’ of experience working in the world’s harshest environments and operates on a global scale.

It is part of Actuant Corporation’s Energy Segment, which includes joint integrity specialists Hydratight and synthetic ropes, cables and umbilicals provider Cortland.

PDL is well-placed to support Viking SeaTech’s North Sea Region engineering team having supported some of the most technically demanding projects with some of the most notable regional, national and international entities.

PDL Solutions (Europe) Ltd is part of the PDL Group, which provides advanced engineering design and analysis services to the main safety critical industries. In addition to its European division in Hexham, Northumberland, the group has operations in Asia and North America.
