PEUGEOT IS HERE FOR YOU

PEUGEOT Buy Online was established in 2017 and made PEUGEOT one of the first manufacturers to offer its customers both a physical and digital solution to the buying journey. Having evolved since its inception, the PEUGEOT Buy Online platform not only allows customers to configure a brand new car (including the all-new PEUGEOT 208 or e-208, named European Car of the Year 2020), personalise their PCP Passport or Just Add Fuel®¿ finance, receive a part exchange valuation and place an order, it also enables customers to view ‘Exclusively for You’ offers* and to park their payments**. When an order has been placed, customers can now choose between a free home delivery or click and collect†.

For the past three years, PEUGEOT Buy Online has been a tool that has supported our customers in partnership with our Retailers. On average 186,000 customers visited this platform and produced 47,000 configurations with unique quotes each month in 2019. These customers could then either place an order online or visit a Retailer to complete the purchase.

In the current pandemic, with Retail showrooms temporarily closed, the PEUGEOT Buy Online platform becomes the main tool for connecting with customers and so, delivers even more. Throughout the month, ‘Exclusively for You*’ offers are available to customers, all they need to do is register their details to receive a unique reference code to unlock bespoke offers. In addition, retail customers wishing to finance a car through PEUGEOT PCP Passport or Just Add Fuel®¿, can ‘Park the Payments**’, with no monthly payments  to pay for three months.

Customers who place an order with PEUGEOT can opt for a safe vehicle home delivery, with new protocols in place to protect the health and well-being of both the delivery driver and the customer. These protocols include: use of protective covers for the steering wheel, gear stick, seat and floor mats, control panel and steering wheel to be disinfected upon delivery and the delivery driver will wear gloves, mask and safety glasses. Alternatively, click and collect is now available at selected Retailers for both new and used vehicles, with equally stringent safety measures in place.

Although Retailers remain temporarily closed, PEUGEOT has introduced a number of hygiene and social distancing measures to ensure they are ready to reopen safely as soon as Government guidance allows. These measures include: hand sanitiser stations to be utilized by all staff and visitors, two metre distance markings on the floor, the use of steering wheel, gearstick, floor and seat covers during test drives and protective desk screens.   A full demonstration of these measures can be seen here.

David Peel, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said: “We want to reassure our customers that PEUGEOT is here to cater for their needs.  If they need a new car, there is no need to wait for showrooms to reopen, they can visit PEUGEOT Buy Online. If they’re worried about additional financial pressures during these difficult times, we have exclusive offers and ‘park the payment’ available to ease the burden. When the vehicle is ready to handover, customers can choose a safe home delivery or click and collect and if they’d prefer to visit a Retailer before making the final purchase decision, our team are ready to reopen safely as soon as Government guidance allows. Whether it is online, over the phone, or, when Government restrictions lift, in person, PEUGEOT is here and ready to support our customers. ”
