Pick up a Vintage Treat in Stockton

logo-landscapeTHE hugely popular Chic Vintique Market returns to Stockton High Street on Saturday 9 April with a marquee of gorgeous gifts and goodies.

Fabulous vintage clothing, retro home wares, antiques, collectables, jewellery, unusual hand crafted gifts and sweet treats will all be on offer from 10am to 4pm.

Admission to the market is free and shoppers will be entertained by Bonzo Dog Ends with their curious collection of costumes, odd instruments, bizarre sets and props! Visitors can also pick up a bite to eat from Remember Me Tearooms, who will be serving some delicious sweet and savoury treats on the High Street.

Organised by Stockton Council and Louise Lewis Events, Chic Vintique is part of the on-going programme of specialist markets heading to Stockton Town Centre over the coming months to attract visitors and shoppers into the town and to complement what the popular weekly market has to offer.

Councillor Nigel Cooke, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, said: “Chic Vintique is always very popular, attracting visitors from the Borough and further afield into the town centre.

“The fantastic market offers a range of vintage goods for people of all ages and interests so I would encourage everyone to come along to browse the stalls and see what is on offer.”

Shoppers visiting the market can also make the most of free parking for the first hour in all of Stockton Town Centre’s short stay, off-street car parks.

Lovers of Chic Vintique should make dates in their diary as the market will return to Stockton Town Centre on 9 July and 8 October 2016.
